Income Management Policy Outlines
The Minister for Housing, Families, Community
Services and Indigenous Affairs has released a series of “policy
guidelines” that will be used by Centrelink to assess whether a person
should be subject to income management and whether an exemption is
granted. These guidelines could see many more Australians becoming
subject to income management that community groups had been led to
