• Services provided: Independent and confidential advice about issues relating to Social Security matters. Advice is obtained through our telephone advice sessions. Legal Assistance and representation may be provided when appealing against Centrelink decisions (within Centrelink and at Tribunals). The Centre also conducts community education and training sessions to community workers about Social Security rights and entitlements.

• Geographical area covered by the Centre: All of Queensland and northern New South Wales.

• Contact times/days for clients: Telephone advice sessions: Monday to Friday 9.30 to 12.30 (except Tuesdays). The Centre is open every day 9-5pm.

• Appointment required or can clients drop in? All initial contacts are done via phone.
